Spanish Honey
One of our treasures, well known across Europe for its extraordinary quality, is honey. The Spanish beekeeper often comes from a family heritage where honey has played a leading role. Why is it the best? Because it has been preserved as a traditional craft, produced in an artisanal way, which has allowed it to maintain the highest quality. We recommend three brands,
Alemany,
Pintarré and the new black truffle honey from
Gourmet & Chic, which have assured us, through their methods, of honeys we are very proud to share with you. Honey is a nutritious, healthy, natural food produced by bees. Its beneficial properties go beyond use as a sweetener, since it is rich in mineral salts, enzymes, vitamins and proteins that give it unique nutritional and organoleptic properties.

Alemany Honeys
La Rioja is well known for its red wines, but the whites from Sierra Cantabria (Rioja Alavesa) are a delight.
Remírez de Ganuza produces this white, fermented and barrel-aged, very pleasant, with good development in the glass and the ability to accompany a great meal from start to finish. Delicate aromas of
aromatic and menthol-like herbs, stone fruits and citrus. A brilliant choice full of elegance. It pairs perfectly with grilled vegetables, cured meats, pickles, a seafood paella and oily fish.
Made in Spain Gourmet pairing: with
Calaveruela blue cheese.
Pintarré Honeys
Pintarré is an estate that Mr. Luis Lorite acquired, located on the outskirts of the Sierra Mágina Natural Park, Jaén, where olive trees are grown organically alongside sheep. His love of nature has added organic beekeeping to the estate and
his honey is also of excellent quality. Pintarré honey is homegrown and organic, produced by bees that forage on the rosemary of the slopes of Sierra Mágina. As organic beekeepers they offer a pure, top-quality honey. The honeys we offer are Mediterranean Forest and Rosemary.

Gourmet & Chic Truffle Honey
Gourmet & Chic are truffle artisans, a small team led by José Manuel Pardo, passionate about truffles and lovers of organic, natural flavor.
Gourmet & Chic thus revives
traditional artisan trades preserved from
generation to generation, ensuring a
local livelihood for these villages with a
tradition of flavor and aroma.
Their
Mountain Honey is naturally flavored by macerating truffle and natural plant aromas. The artisan beekeeper moves the hives up to the mountain at about 1,000 meters altitude, where heather, lavender and Jedrea bloom. The bees make the honey there. It is macerated with autumn truffle (4%) and artisanally centrifuged so the honey absorbs the truffle. A true luxury.
