Spanish Cheeses Made for Autumn

Autumn has a very special way of bringing us back to the table. The evenings get shorter, staying at home feels more inviting and dinners somehow begin to last a little longer. It’s time to open a bottle of wine, slice some good bread and bring out that cheese we’ve been saving for a special occasion. Although, come to think of it, perhaps we don’t need an occasion at all. Because few foods express their land and origin with as much personality as a great cheese. And few pleasures are as simple as sharing it with the people we love. We'll bring the cheese.

Spanish Gourmet Cheeses

Autumn tastes better with cheese

Spain is a fascinating world of cheese. Sheep’s, goat’s and cow’s milk; young, semi-cured, cured and aged cheeses; natural rinds, intense flavours, creamy textures and aromas that tell us something about the landscape where they were made.

Behind every one of them is something we love at Made in Spain Gourmet: origin, tradition, small producers and time. Because great cheese cannot be rushed.

One cheese board, endless ways to enjoy it

There’s no need to make things complicated.

Choose two or three different cheeses, add some good bread, nuts, quince paste, figs or one of our gourmet preserves. Open a Spanish wine and let each cheese tell its own story. Start with something delicate and finish with the most mature and intense. Combine different types of milk. Play with textures. Or simply choose that one cheese you already know everyone will love.

And then there’s that last little piece that nobody seems to want to take...

until suddenly it’s gone.

That’s how we like autumn: gathered around the table, with nowhere to rush to and an exceptional Spanish cheese at the centre.

Which Spanish cheese will be arriving at your table next?
