Bread, pâté, and lots of happiness.

Our French friends know what it means to gather around a table and enjoy what their cuisine has to offer. These are always pleasant moments, and if they are well stimulated, food is an essential part of that happiness. How would you like to join around a table with a feast of fish and seafood pâtés from our coasts? A fantastic plan that will win anyone over. It’s ideal for special occasions, like elegant dinners or get-togethers with friends. You can serve it on a wooden board, accompanied by artisanal bread or savory crackers. It’s also an excellent addition to canapés. The fish pâté is a delicious preparation made from fish, generally mixed with ingredients such as butter, cream, herbs and spices. The premium seafood pâté is a delight! This type of pâté is made with high-quality ingredients, such as fresh, carefully selected seafood, which gives it a more intense flavor and a smoother, creamier texture. We have selected two superb gourmet brands from northern Spain for you, La Curiosa and Agromar — true artisans of canned fish and gourmet seafood. We are very proud to share with them the highest standards and to never spare effort or product quality. Premium gourmet fish and seafood pâté is a new category. Because Made in Spain is Quality Bread, Pâté and lots of Happiness

La Curiosa’s pâté

They don’t like to see pâté as a substitute or an inferior product. They see it as another format for enjoying quality canned fish and seafood. In other words, you can make pâté from sardine heads or from roasted sardine fillets. The difference? Cat food versus a quality product with certified origin.

Same philosophy, but with a blender

Product traceability: mussels from Galicia, fishmongers and products from the fish markets of Galicia… in short, No additives and no “stuff”: they like labels with 5–6 ingredients and where the only thing accompanying the fish or seafood is a rustic sauté of vegetables or a garlic-and-olive-oil preparation. Just like your grandmother would make! Local (km 0) products: from tomatoes to onions, they come from nearby gardens and farms. Creating a new category, where the consumer perceives that a seafood pâté can truly be a ten-out-of-ten product. We recommend pairing it with a good white wine: Albariño, Verdejo, or Penedés. Agromar, pâtés from the Cantabrian Sea

Agromar’s commitment to quality leads them to source raw materials from our coasts, respecting the product and its nature while maintaining an artisanal traditional production process that has endured for decades. Their pâtés contain a high percentage of seafood or fish of the highest, exceptional quality. The production requires meticulous selection and hand cleaning. The success of Agromar products and their clear positioning in the “gourmet” segment have led their preserves to be present today in the most select restaurants and delicatessen shops in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Mexico, the USA and Hong Kong. We have selected for you the pâtés that, in our opinion, are Agromar’s best: spider crab (centollo), mussel, sardine and Bonito del Norte. All pair well with white wines and cavas from Penedés.
