Vins El Cep is an emblematic winery from the Penedés region, renowned for its dedication to producing high-quality cavas. It was founded in 1980 by four families — Carreras, Esteve, Masana and Parera — lifelong friends who have been partners ever since. Each family brought centuries of experience in agriculture and the tradition of making wine at home. Today Maite Esteve, from the Esteve family, runs the winery, and with her international vision the brand is present in more than 50 countries.
Nowadays it remains one of the most respected brands in the production of premium cavas. Can Llopart de les Alzines is an estate dating from 1499, surrounded by the vineyards from which its grapes come and chosen as the site to build the Vins El Cep winery.
