Karmage with walnuts by VEGGIE KARMA is a plant-based, artisan, fermented, organic semi-cured cheese. Gluten-free, raw and wholesome. A source of high-quality protein, healthy fats, omega 3, 6 and 9, probiotics derived from fermentation, tryptophan, vitamin B1 and minerals such as copper, magnesium, iron, zinc, phosphorus and selenium.

This semi-cured cheese includes walnuts among its ingredients. These nuts contain large amounts of omega-3 (protective effect against cardiovascular disease), as well as a notable percentage of vitamin E, B vitamins, and minerals and trace elements such as phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, copper, zinc and iron.

Keep refrigerated (between 2 and 10°)

Remove your semi-cured cheese from its packaging and store it in your refrigerator in a food container, dish, plate or in its cardboard box. We recommend storing it uncovered (open box) so it can “breathe” and continue its curing process. This way, its flavor will intensify over time and it will become drier and drier.

Also, to allow its aromas to open up, we recommend taking it out of the refrigerator 5 minutes before tasting.

According to a specialized directory for alternative proteins, it is a company founded in 2018, dedicated to plant-based food products such as vegan cheeses, made with ingredients including almond, cashew, coconut, and lupin.

Owners and team

The company was founded by Julien Malmont and Giovanni, who championed Veggie Karma’s philosophy from the outset, with fermentation as a key element. Both have been behind the project since its beginnings, promoting sustainable, conscious, gourmet production.

VEGGIE KARMA selects top-quality ingredients to create artisanal, vegan, and gluten-free products, free from preservatives, colorings, thickeners, and sugar, while respecting the environment and animals. All Veggie-Karma creations are fermented, raw, and rich in probiotics, minerals, and vitamins. They are certified organic and gluten-free.
