Their gourmet preserves are the result of selecting the finest live seafood and a fully artisanal production process, in which the shellfish is cooked in Cantabrian Sea water before the meat is extracted by hand, creating a fresh, handcrafted, unique product of the very highest quality.

They have an in-house laboratory where they periodically monitor their holding tanks, shellfish meat, and select preserves, in addition to health, quality, and traceability checks on all their products.

Pairing: it is best enjoyed however you like. At Made in Spain Gourmet, we recommend it, of course, with a good white wine—Penedés, Verdejo, Albariño—or why not a premium cava, a vermouth, or a frizzante such as La Mundial. It can be used with sushi, in pintxos, in salads, and even with pasta.

Tasting note: a very distinctive flavor, with a pleasant and balanced aroma. Its texture is firm and even, with a soft texture on the palate.

La Mar de Tazones was born from more than 35 years of experience in the seafood sector by Cetárea Tazones, a company founded in 1986 in the port of Tazones, Asturias. Its gourmet preserves are the result of selecting the finest live seafood and a strong completely artisanal /strong production process, in which the seafood is cooked in water from the Cantabrian Sea and the meat is then extracted by hand, achieving a fresh, artisan, unique product of the very highest quality. They have an in-house laboratory where they regularly monitor their holding tanks, seafood meat, and select preserves, in addition to health, quality, and traceability controls for all their products. All the experience accumulated at Delicrab is what led them to embark on this project, as beautiful as it is challenging: to create the finest gourmet preserves from world-renowned products—seafood—that no one had made until now, at least not with a guarantee of the highest quality. The Noval family, with a young and very well-prepared second generation, can only do one thing: succeed.
