Pairing:
Artisan Semi-Cured Manchego Cheese PDO is perfect to enjoy on its own or alongside a selection of Made in Spain products. Its smooth, balanced flavor, with a pleasant dairy aftertaste, pairs wonderfully with a variety of Spanish delicacies that enhance its flavor and texture.
Recommended pairings:
Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the region
A good extra virgin olive oil, such as Oro La Senda PDO Olive Oil, brings a fruity and slightly bitter touch that highlights the cheese's dairy notes, creating an exquisite fusion of flavors.
Artisan jams
Tomato jam or fig jam, both traditionally made with fruit from the region, add a subtle sweetness that contrasts perfectly with the creamy, lightly salted texture of Semi-Cured Manchego Cheese.
Acorn-fed Iberian ham
The fat of acorn-fed Iberian ham, with its deep umami flavor, pairs perfectly with the smoothness of the cheese, creating a blend of intense flavors that complement each other beautifully.
Breadsticks
Traditional picos breadsticks or pan de cristal, typical of the region, offer the perfect crunchy texture to accompany the cheese, allowing the flavors to develop in every bite.
Nuts such as almonds or walnuts
Almonds or walnuts, such as those from Les Garrigues, add a crunchy contrast and sweetness that pairs ideally with the cheese's creamy texture.
This Artisan Cured Manchego Cheese PDO is a journey of flavors that becomes even richer when paired with the finest Made in Spain products. Each combination enhances the authentic flavor of La Mancha, creating gastronomic experiences that celebrate the very best of Spanish tradition.
