Original Made in Spain 2025

The pickled pheasant from Amo Conservas is another standout gourmet product from this brand, known for its fine preserves. Pheasant is a highly prized game meat for its delicate flavor and firm texture. In this preserved preparation, the pheasant is cooked in an escabeche marinade, which usually consists of a blend of vinegar, oil, spices, and aromatic herbs that act as natural preservatives and add a unique flavor.

This type of preparation is traditional in Spanish cuisine, especially in the northern region, and lets you enjoy pheasant meat in a very flavorful way.

Pairing: At Made in Spain Gourmet, we recommend enjoying it on its own or as part of different dishes, as an appetizer or as an accompaniment in gourmet salads, adding pomegranate, pear, or apple to the salad. It is a high-quality food, often associated with gourmet cuisine.

Amo Conservas

The Aparicio Family is known for its company Tejido de Amo Conservas, a firm specialized in producing and marketing gourmet products, mainly high-quality preserves. This company stands out for producing delicacies such as partridge pâté, game pâtés, and other select preserves. It is a family business, Aparicio Tejido, which has been raising common pheasants for hunting releases for almost 30 years in the Palencia village of Santoyo, Castilla León. The name "Tejido de Amo Conservas" reflects the company's artisanal tradition, crafting its products with a focus on quality and respect for traditional techniques. The products from this family are highly prized for their refined flavor and quality. The facilities include breeding areas, an incubator room, an area for newly hatched chicks, outdoor chick enclosures for birds up to two months old, and permanent flight aviaries for adult pheasants, more than 50 m long. In Spain, wonders are still being made that we have a duty to preserve for many more generations.
