Lagar del Soto Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Manzanilla Cacereña, Jacoliva

On a very specific few days, at the beginning of the harvest season during the month of October, it is made from green olives to achieve its unique attributes. At least 20 kg of olives are needed to obtain 1 liter of product, because when green the olive has not yet developed its oil. So you can imagine just how exclusive this oil is.

Jacoliva

Jacoliva holds more than 100 years of history and evolution from a family that has made the production of high-quality olive oils its hallmark. Since its beginnings, Jacoliva has been known for producing excellent-quality virgin olive oils, always caring for the environment and pioneering the use of innovative production techniques that improve the quality of its products.
Throughout all these years, Jacoliva has remained faithful to the commitments that have shaped its path:
A deep connection to the land and care for the environment. Offering quality and service to growers and customers. Nurturing the olive production of the local region, home to the Manzanilla Cacereña variety, which yields an exceptional oil. Committing to the union of innovation and growth. Being a benchmark for quality in the sector.

Generations

Generation after generation, the family commitment to offering a high-quality oil has been perfectly combined with a focus on innovation and a constant pursuit of refinement in production processes and techniques.

Today, under the direction of Mr. Justino Damián Corchero Montero, the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality standards have been implemented, confirming the organization’s expertise and commitment to its environment, customers, and suppliers.

As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental care, in September 2007 Jacoliva opened an innovative treatment plant for the water used to clean the olives and for the mill’s wastewater. Thanks to this new purification system, the water used in the olive oil production process can be returned to public waterways or used for irrigation.
With many things in common with us, it is an honor to have them as representatives of olive oil from the Extremadura region.
