100% Iberian Morcón, Señorio de Montanera
Señorío de Montanera acorn-fed Iberian morcón is made with shoulder loin from 100% Iberian acorn-fed pigs, knife-cut by hand, together with other top-quality lean cuts, artisanally stuffed into natural cecum casing. It is traditionally made following the typical recipe of the old traditional pig slaughters in the villages of southern Extremadura. Its curing in a natural cellar for more than six months refines its aroma and flavor until it achieves the unique, exclusive nuances of this traditional gourmet product.
Once sliced, it delights the eye with a marbled appearance, dominated by an intense purple color derived from the use of shoulder loin and other noble lean cuts in its preparation. Warm, intense aroma. Its exquisite juiciness can be appreciated by sight, texture, and on the palate, where it leaves a long-lasting flavor full of nuances as a result of its slow maturation. A gourmet gift for the palate, with a velvety sensation and a sweet finish.

Technical information:
Ingredients: Shoulder loin and lean meat from 100% Iberian acorn-fed pork (162g/100g finished product), salt, paprika, dextrose, dextrin, vegetable fiber, flavorings, spices and spice extracts, and preservatives (E-252 and E-250). Special storage conditions: Keep refrigerated at a temperature below 7ºC.
Conditions of use: Non-edible casing; remove before eating. Open the vacuum pack 15 minutes in advance. If the whole piece is not consumed, it is recommended to keep it refrigerated again (below 7ºC) inside its original bag.
Discard the first slice when resuming consumption. The optimal serving temperature should be between 18 and 24ºC.
As for slicing, since each slice is large, it can be cut into 3 small pieces for a perfect presentation. A thin cut is recommended, as with lomo or presa.
